You have to wonder about any piece of (automotive) equipment with longevity listed in hours. I suppose one could say they were being honest, where some other companies should probably have done the same but elected not to.

I think it was effectively a brand new block. It was even painted. The guy wanted like ~$600 for it, which I suppose might be cheap at the price if you had a crosley. Nonetheless, "wat".
